Looking for some Japanese rareness for your ride? Then look no further as this JDM conlight is quirky yet functional. It features an intelligent sensor on the top of the unit which automatically turns on your park lights or headlights based on how much light it detects outside.
If you've ever been following a car designed with luxury in mind, such as a BMW or Lexus etc, you may have noticed their lights come on when passing through a tunnel or when it starts to get darker outside - Well this is exactly what the conlight does, except an added bonus with this one is that you have the ability to adjust the sensitivity of the sensor by moving a knob on the side of the unit, giving you full control over how dark you want it to be before your headlights come on. This was a very new feature back in the 90's and was only available as an optional extra in Japan.
It is very easy to install and is 100% plug-and-play for AE101 models, but can be also adapted to most models by simply tapping into the wiring for your headlight stalk under the dashboard. There are only four wires and the unit sits in the driver's side corner of your dashboard, behind the windshield. No holes need to be drilled whatsoever as the unit sits securely with a small strip of double-sided tape.
Everything was confirmed working when removed from the vehicle. Suitable for both LHD and RHD models, including the Corolla AE101, AE92, AE82, Camry, Celica and MANY more.
