B5.5 Passat 1.9 TDi PD130 --- The comfort mobile

Just bought a B5.5 Passat TDi 130bhp SE to use as a daily so i could get my corolla restored and resprayed.
Its the Blue anthracite colour which looks amazing in my opinion.
Its got 160k on the clock, had the cambelt and waterpump done not long ago.

I hope to average atleast 45mpg local, which iv been told is achievable

I told myself im not going to mod it because im going to be saving for the work on the corolla but iv already started buying afew bits for it

I just bought the B5 passat in dash cupholder, I cant wait for it turn up. Been told its a straight fit.

This is going to be to comfort mobile. so no power mods, just comfort mods

Looks just like the ones we have over here!  Hopefully, it is trouble-free for a long time

Yeah, we have several VW TDi versions...... I hate them LOL (they smell so bad)

the dirty diesel

Wel lad, i was thinking of putting the 3sge in my corolla sometime during the year. What are they like to live with.? are they reliable.? I see here you've bought a diesel to use as a daily, was the 3sge to much to keep running.?

the 3sge is an amazing engine. cant fault it.

the reason iv bought the passat is because im doing quite a bit of custom work to it, so i needed an eco daily to save some money for the corolla build

Ishaq,

When you did the cam belt, why didn't you replace the oil pump and cam tensioner and the other pulleys around the timing belt too?

Looks like it has a rear fog light?

what do mean?
the rear lights are supposed to be fully lit up (both circles should be lit up) just need to get 2 bulbs and fit them

oh ok. yes they do. its integrated into the rear light cluster
