id go for red leds if you are going to be upgrading Thanks, I've read on here that the use of the dimmer switch probally wont work with LED's, but will the LED's be much brighter than bulbs? Don't need to have the dimmer swith working, I just like having it there, rather than the coin holder. Yeah, Im starting to think red too... Have you done this upgrade?

| UPDATE 10/02/15 Well... sigh.... Rota Grids were going to be a big cost to install, so I went with a more sensible option. This morning my baby went into the shop. Picked her up after work looking like this New 17x7" DTM GT37 11 wheels New 205x40x17 tyers New springs, lowered 40mm, still to settle down to final height Inner lip rolled on the rear gaurds Painted calipers and surrounds TRD (fake) valve stem caps I think I might paint the center caps black and add a Toyota logo The speaker panels have been paid for and I can't wait for those to arrive. My other goodies are not too far away too.

| Looks awesome. What was the price difference between these and the Rotas, if you don't mind me asking? | |

To get the size and style Rota's would have been twice the price all up. I spent about $2200 NZD for wheels, tyers, springs and labour. I Think the grids are around $1400 NZD without tyres, and I would have had to pump the gaurds and convert to 5 stud to have the 17x8 option. But the 16x8 does come in a 4x100 so that was an option, but I really wanted 17" wheels, so went with that size.

| Greddy Heat Plate Installed HKS Super Power Flow Filter Installed Professionally Tinted by "Glass Tinting CHC" - 35% all round. The Tein Bonnet Dampers don't fit too well, they require an small dent in the bonnet skeleton to allow the bonnet to sit flush when closed, which sucks because they are supposed to be "plug & play". Although it should be an easy mod. The Tom's Super Air Intake requires the ARC Air Box or an aftermarket pipe between the AFM and Intake, so I'm searching for one.... Maybe someone here knows of a solution =) | |

Hey, I bought it from TPS shop .com. About $50 USD + shipping It looks nice, but on closer inspection, I give it 8 /10. It is very thin, the bonnet pole doesn't quite fit perfect, and the anodising is very thin so in the right light and angle it looks uneven. But I’m very fussy. On the plus side, the temperature gauge does read a few clicks cooler, and the stock horns, radiator and brackets etc. are all now hidden. I think there are probably better cooling plates out there, but this one is pretty cool! I have TPS shop searching for an ARC box and TRD 3 Point Brace, I can buy another cooling plate on your behalf and ship direct to you =D http://tpsshop.blogspot.co.nz/2014/03/ae101-corolla-greddy-radiator-cooling.html http://www.mudah.my/GREDDY+radiator+cooling+plate+Toyota+AE101-24132670.htm http://www.nengun.com/cooling-cooling-panels/

Hi wat, Haha, I like how they look too, I wish the front bumper was a little lower to match the side skirts.

| Genuine TRD 3 Point Front Strut Tower Brace..... Check! Found the brace on Trade Me, $250 NZD, the guy had some other sweet TRD, TOM'S, MOMO and other AE101 parts, it was a real gold mine. Brace is in average condition, and it has been painted the "Silver Top" Silver colour. Not a great fit, the left hand side does not sit flush =( I hope to colour match to my factory "Greyish Green" at some point, or find another in mint condition. I have found the replacement TRD badge. http://www.acromann.com/product_info.php?products_id=2214 Time to throw it into into some corners and see if the brace helps...... If your in the Christchurch area, look out for a FX going sideways =) | |

| Nice, just be careful running them open all the time. For a while I ran mine open but I made a screen like gasket to keep from any pebbles or small objects getting sucked in. Even then, I hated driving like that when it was raining. If this is your daily, you might want to get a filter of some type.
But they look dang good!

| Toms Carbon Fibre Plenum Installed Only problem is that the TRD brace is slightly bent and is too close to the plenum. So one option is to make a bracket to extend the air box to give clearance, or, buy another brace with clearance. The TRD brace did make a differance in cornering, but the improvement in throttle response is way better, the plenum stays. So back in goes the stock strut brace, until I figure out what to buy as a suitable replacement, anyone looking for a TRD brace????

But they look dang good! Hey, thanks Trife96, you got in too quick before I could get home a snap some more pics. I read your posts on your gasket filters, very clever. She is my daily so need to keep her in good condition, I just hope we sealed the plenum perfectly. Thanks =)

I maybe assuming but when you do get your set of BZ lights look for these connectors in the back of a wrecked BZ Touring rear lights and grab them as they only need a little shave of the two big lugs and fit snug if you wanted to use the indicators as parkers.
