Best Output

Im thinking about getting new headlights for the 'rolla. Out of the many styles of lights witch give the best light output. I will be running 10,000k , 12,000k or pink HIDs

standard (is there any difference between standard and jdm other than the painted black piece)

or standard with retro fitted projectors

Ah....

Well let me tell you that those HIDs will be very dim compared to 4300k, and it will be hard to see at night with a deep blue or purple color lol.

NONE of those head lights are meant for HIDs, so they don't focus the beam properly and cause glare. The projector ones will be best for reducing glare, and the first set will be the second best.

Note that it matters if you are RHD or LHD, the USA head lights are LHD.

Best output will be a projector retrofit like I did in the black JDM head lights. You can't put projectors in the standard head lights because the lens is not clear.

can you buy just the clear lenses that come on the jdm style lights.?

because if you can id split my headlight myself and paint the inside black

i have jdm headlights with 6000k b/c i think theyre the cleanest looking however i have to agree with chris as the projectors will give you the best lighting. I eventually plan on doing the retrofit eventually

Interesting, I never actually seen new lenses available like that before! I'm gonna say no you can't find clear ones.

yeah i took me long enough to find that one so i didnt have very high hopes for clear ones
