Help?? Broken Bumper??

Since my car was destroyed in a hit and run crash I was fortunate to have only two things broken on the car one was a back wheel and the rear bumper, the wheels don't bother me but the bumper does as it's a Jap SE Limited bumper it was completely broken into two right at the bend on the right hand side. My question is is there any hope of this being repaired if so how? I've looked online and seen some tutorials and ways of fixing cracks etc... but haven't seen any being repaired that are completely broke so I don't feel too optimistic about this major issue anyone have any ideas? Some here might say why don't you buy another but the answer is where will I buy one, there getting rarer and rarer and iv'e tried but haven't managed to be successful enough to find another this is something I need to fix or get my hands on another asap. I would but I've no pic of it now as my mechanic has it now and according to him he said he can do something with it so i'll see what he can do with it

ya i was just asking on here before i gave it to him it's not a guaranteed fix yet but hopefully
