Newb from Northern NJ

Hello, Im Dennis from Northern NJ, Just recently acquired a 97 AE101 about a week ago.
Im a long time car nut since the mid 90's so ive seen plenty of Supped up Corolla's back in my country prior to moving to the US.
My choice of this vehicle came into effect after thinking of what to get as a daily. I know very much what this car can become with work put into it. And me being a former Honda owner, I know how thieves can be a real pain, also realizing that not many people pay attention to this car and the rarity of seeing ones that are worked on, that just made the choice easy for me. In plain words, no one will really steal this car even if it was worked on.

Anyways I look forward to learning, having fun and maybe even helping out others in this forum.

New oem spec shocks with 1.5 drop springs
Its rolling on 14 inch BMW E30 Basket Weave wheels right now, Just got it yesterday the wheels and tires it came with the car was just bad.
The reason I got these wheels is so if my wife decides to take this car, she wont bend the wheels.
She already bent the wheels on my beamer before, I had to take it like a man and just smile, tell her its ok lolz.
Hopefully in the next few month's I can get cracking on my 20v Blacktop 6 Speed swap.
Hopefully I dont lose control of myself with this car and go all out cuz I still want her as a daily

OK now the pics work lol. I love the BMW! And the Corolla looks like a fresh clean start. Definitely a perfect daily with the BMW around. And you don't have to worry about it getting stolen or getting attention lol.

Thanks, its my username.everywhere. yea couldnt take.my civic.anywhere when.I had it. It was only taken out for events. I was thinking more of.a.sleeper with my corolla. Def want the Blacktop 6 speed swap.

awsome rides mate......but isnt a daily supposed to be slow and economical lol......and blacktops are awsome revving monsters

yea, but after I get it tuned should be able squeeze more mpg on it. Its gonna be better with gas compared to my beamer anyway lolz
