| Hey guys, First time poster after just having found the site, and dear lord is this place definitely what I needed. Getting straight into it though, I'm looking at doing a sneaky few mods to the wifes car without telling her, and part of this plan is new wheels. During my travels through all things JDM, I've fallen in love with the Axis OG Oldskool's, but I'm not sure if they'd fit the car. Now, granted I do work in a tyre shop, and should have the professional knowledge, but nobody I can find has actually put a set of 15x8's on a Corolla around here so I'm left lost. The nitty gritty of the wheels are 15x8 with a +25 offset, and the car is a dead stock AE101 hatch, although I do plan on lowering it (complete with rolled guards) as part of the modifications. Can anyone give me correct guidance, or will I be a trailblazer and have to just front the cash to order one rim for the fitment check in order to better our knowledge base?
Thanks, Nic | |

| Welcome! Post pics, what are you starting with? PS it's a good idea to tell the wife before spending money on the car | |

| Cheers for the advice guys, looks like I'll be going ahead with the rims pretty soon.
The starting slab is just a bog stock 4 door hatch in white. Nothing special about this one, just a nice low kilometre runabout that we bought off my Aunt as a first car. I myself own a big V8 Holden Statesman that I've thrown a fair bit of money into, so I thought it'd be nice to give her a car she can be proud of.
Also, we don't need to worry about spending the money without telling her haha, the income going towards her car is all cash-in-hand work. I'd never get away with sneaking money out of the bank account haha. | |
