Yum yum Oil!

Gidday folks,
okay what type of oil do you use in your ae101 ? and how fast does she go through it ?
i have a 4age which loves to eat my oil !!(shell helix 10W40 semi synth) She only ever sends out a little puff of smoke at high high rpm, and there are no leaks on the outside of the engine. I give her about a cup and a half every week/ 400 K.
engine runs smooth apart from a strange gutless lag when cold, where she wont rev much higher then 2.5k which lasts about a minute.
any ideas ? Cheers

Unfortunately 4ages are known for eating oil, don't know why or were (I know where mine goes).
The High high rpm smoke, is it black?
As for the gutless ness when cold, same again I'm afraid Sad

Sometimes the oil goes from full to empty under 200ks
It depends how you drive it, the owners manual says (in 4afe) that negative pressure in the cylinders suck extra oil in, so down shifting will suck oil in but some tines oil lasts ages, depends how you drive
