Toyota Owners Meet NW

Hi guys,

Inspired by the fact there are numerous honda meets, ford shows, classic car meets and so on and so forth.
I am proposing we get as many toyotas owners together to host a toyota event

what are your thoughts on this?

i know there are a number of toyotas in the NW and im sure i could persuade afew others from around the country to attend...

would any of you guys be up for this? i was thinking end of july...
specific date & location will be decided closer to the event (everyone is welcome to give a date / location that would be suitable for all)

I would love too, down side is I will only have my 6 and my focus on the road at the time so can't attend in a Toyota as of yet sorry .

im sure you can get the corolla on the road in the next 2 months

I can try mate but I have just paid for the corolla + transport, focus estate, road tax, and will soon have my son arriving along with all the other bills in the mean time aswell as doing the turbo seals, head gasket ball joints so cash is very tight at the moment but, if i'm welcome to come in what ever I can at the time i'll try my best to come.

I'm already looking for a cheap hotel for a weekend trip..

I won't be able to make it due to (very) personal reasons..
And I have not found any cheap hotels either

It would be fun too attend the next meet with my car but its not ready for a several 1000 mile roadtrip yet, I did some checking and from my apartment too Santa Pod is alittle over 1200 miles and 22 hours driving one way!

Thats just too much right now so a roadtrip from me too Manchester would require a small truckload in cash, a vastly (?) improved Corolla E10 and lots of free time, and driving on the left side of the road in a lefthand drive car with km/h on the speedo instead of mp/h would be a huge challenge!
