| lol I honestly did not think a car as low as yours could even be driven like that. And it seems so smooth too considering how stable the camera was. | |

| Haha thanks man, I love being slammed but I still gotta take it out and drive hard every once in awhile! I'm sure your Rolla would be tearing up these corners way harder though - kennydang91 wrote:

| Thanks everyone! Another small update for now, got my bumper turn signals wired as extra corner lights by Corollove and his trusty sodering ability! Such a simple mod but I just can't get enough of how awesome it looks now Also, came up on a steering wheel for literally dirt cheap during the fourth of July weekend junkyard sales! Definitely needs some TLC but it's sturdy enough to rock for now until I get my steering wheel of choice. 8 bones can't beat that! | |

| Poor rat rolla took yet another blow to it's demeanor A customer at work backed into it while it was parked. She said that it was too low and she couldn't see it. She was about to get her insurance involved with it and all but I just figured well atleast she was nice enough to let me know and settled it with 60 bucks lol. The fender was bent a little and the corner light was crushed but aside from that it doesn't look too bad. Was able to pull the fender back out for the most part. I just can't imagine what some insurance adjuster would think while looking at my car lmao Other than that, a friend of mine swooped on some visors for me, his friend didn't need them so he just gave them away so I figured it couldn't hurt. Doing a little mock fit, they are faded to purple from the sun so I might pick up some lens tint paint and have at it. Either that or I might try color matching them to white, not sure yet. Any ideas? Yay or nay on the visors? | |

| sorry to hear bud, hope you can sort it properly soon.. the visors look alright in my opinion, but you can spray them to make them a little darker if you dont like the purple | |

| Aw man. Well that's awesome that you were nice enough not to get the insurance involved. This is the 3rd 7th gen story I've heard about someone being backed up into by a woman in an SUV/truck. lol maybe we should all put big red flags or signs at the top of our cars or something.
And I like the visors! But I think you should paint the door window frame black (or at least plastidip). i never liked the look of painted door frames on our cars.
Oh and did your car come with the glass sunroof? Or is that aftermarket?

| Well the visors don't look "good" like that, but they look "ratty" like you're going for, right? And now the corner lights "match" lol. It's all good. | |

| As far as the hit goes I'm not too worried about it, I was just glad that they were honest and at the time it happened I was really too tired to care lol
With the visors though I'm still not sure what I'll do with them exactly, however I've always been more particular to the painted window frames over the black ones. Pretty much the reason why I never bothered to get visors lol
I actually don't know whether or not the manual sunroof is aftermarket. It has some kind of Toyota logo on it I think and it's been there ever since my mom first got the car in 1997. I haven't seen another corolla with one though, which kinda sucks bc I need to find a replacement hinge for one side. It's held down by a bent paper clip lmao

I wouldn't say that the "ratty" look is what I'm going for, to be honest. I guess what happened was that i got the car in a certain way and with all the mishaps it ended up becoming what it is now. I'm just trying to work with what i have and even though it isn't much, I still enjoy this car and the way it is. It's nothing to take seriously to me, I just piece together what I like and try to add some of my own character to it. I guess it would be a "rat" in that aspect so I just embrace that for what it's worth. And besides, what fun is it in looking like everybody else out there right? Hehe
