fog switch???

Is there a fog switch on e10/ae101 corolla??? I traced wires from down under indicators to a relay under bonnet and wires go inside car over beside the drivers side in dash there 2 plugs I has the wires and other is same shape was the connection as fog but different wires in it

I just wonder is there a switch that can be plugged in to the loom??

the plug in my hand has da fog wires to into it that's why I wonder in if there's a switch?

The front fog switch should be on the stalk that controls the lights, I will get a picture if I can.

There is no other front fog switch for the AE101 afaik... The plug in your hand was the power mirror plug and the small one (with the looped wire) is for the dashboard lights dimmer.

jayus power mirrors.... wonder why da fog wire go into the plug??

Maybe just the positive wire is shared... power mirrors have a constant +

Btw, do you have any pics of the relay under the bonnet where the fog wires go?

they go into black 1 its a engine main


the red wire with silver spots and white 1 with silver spots

y i need help hooking these up. i have a usdm corolla but have a fx bumper and fogs. im am blown on how to install these..i mean.. ik now i can splice and all that . my frst question is...is it safe to assume that if a corolla didnt come with fogs..then there is no oem loom or plug stashed in the trim somewhre? i have an oem fog switch with the lights and the switch has a plug at the end of it. i put it by the emergency brake but havent looked to see if there is a spot to plug it in. any help on thiswould be appreciated. preferably with pictures. basically.....how and whats the best way to install these

Nope, there's no wiring available for you. You have to run all new wiring, like you would on any fog light set from Autozone or wherever.

hah thanks gold! i was waiting on a reply lol. cool. so im assuming i need a relay then? as you know...i have mental block when it comes to wiring. im sure its easy but still. also you wouldnt happen to know if thye make yellow bulbs for these fogs do ya?

What kind of bulb is it? I'd assume a regular H3, in which case, yeah, lots of yellow ones available.

You can buy a fog light harness by itself and use that, since you don't know how to make your own lol.

I picked up a harness from PepBoys once.... not sure what you've got in TN though

we should. ima check there today afer i leave this wedding lol then tomorrow ll work on installing them! may pick up some yellow bulbs while im at it
