Where to run wires through the firewall?

Subject: Where to run wires through the firewall? Wed Mar 13, 2013 2:08 am

Looking to route a power line from my battery into the cabin, but at first glance I couldn't really find an existing hole to put it through. Is anyone aware of an existing hole that I can route my line through without having to take apart many components? Thanks.

The wires run through both fenders like this:

From fender? I never see that... What cable go throught that??

^^^ yeah, that's actually what I do on my IS300 now lol. It's easier than going through the fender.

That was my sub amp wire and fog light wires.

Where is this firewall grommet located? is it the one above the gas pedal? I went to run it through my fender but I couldn't remove the fender because it was spot welded to the rest of the car and I didn't want to drill that.
