| I drive a ee100 corolla with a 4efe engine,a few weeks ago i converted it to all electrics and hvac from a 5afe se limited donor car into my own.I used the interior loom from the 5afe and all my stuff like windows, clocks and heater controls work, however the plugs in the center console of the 5afe are different as well as the 12 pin ecu plug on the dash loom.On the 5afe there are two rectangular plugs in the center, one black and one grey with the grey plug housing the majority of the wires. On my 4efe the plugs coming in from the engine bay do not match up,one is a rectangular black plug with around 15-20 wires going into it while the other one is a much smaller grey plug with a black, pink and purple wire going into it.I was wondering has anyone done this before and would like to know what the two plugs are for.I need to repin my 16 pin plug for the 4efe ecu and i dont think i can take what i need straight from the 12 pin on the 5afe dash loom as it could be rerouted differently.Basically what i need to get the car running is as follows.
------16 pin plug from 4efe ecu------ 1 ~ ~ ~ 2 BATT White-Green Switched Battery Power (+12V) (EFI Main Relay) NEED 3 CCO Unknown Check Connector Outputs 4 FC Green-Red Circuit Opening Relay (Fuel Cut) NEED 5 ELS1 Green Electrical Load Signal System Taillight Relay NEED 6 AC2 Unknown 12V To Aircon Computer 7 TE2 White-Blue Check Connector 8 TE1 Gray Check Connector (Diagnostics) 9 +B Black-Yellow Switched Battery Power (12V) NEED 10 W Green-White Warning Light MAYBE??? 11 EGW Unknown Catalytic Converter Temparature Warning Light (Combination Meter) 12 AC1 Pink A/C Switch Signal System (12V to Aircon Computer) 13 SPD Violet Speed Signal NEED 14 ACT Black-White A/C Cut Control System 15 ELS2 Unknown Electrical Load Signal System MAYBE??? 16 VF Green-Yellow Check Connector Outputs
So thats it anyway, any help would be much appreciated, thanks. | |

| Ok i have the large plug repinned and the car goes to fire up but then it seems to cut fuel,my pump is priming and im getting spark. My open circuit relay and efi main relay are both working also. The small 3 pin plug below is the only one i have left but but there is no corrisponding wires for it.I have a suspicion it may be for some kind immobiliser or something but i dont have a chipped key.My car is 1996 and a friend told me 95 onwards have some kind off immobiliser in them. His 1993 corolla is the exact same loom as mine except it doesnt have this 3 pin plug.Anyway here's a pic. | Hey, maybe instead of me locking it, you can provide the answer in case someone comes looking for the same issue? | |

| The black wire turned out to be the permanent power for the injectors which is then earthed through the ecu each time the crank signal is picked up,the other pink and purple wire was for a the radio which was weird but i didn't have to use them as the radio is powered through the 5afe harness. | |
