just wondering about everyone elses clean ace

so i just recently received my clean ace from scott. i get it installed ant everything and all the lights work and the switch functions correctly. my hi/lo/auto button does nothing at all and the on/off button works. so when i turn it on it runs for about one minute to a minute and a half and shuts off. it never turns back on. scott says that it has to learn the cars voltage system and such and others have had the same problem as im having but it started to work as it should after a couple of days. im not doubting him by any means i just think this is weird. have any of you had this problem? does anyone no more about it? anyone have a pdf of the paperwork that comes with it? i cant find any info on it online. i paid a good bit of money for this and i just want to make sure its not broken as im sure it probably wasnt tested before it was sold since it has to learn the car. like i said scott (cause i know youre reading this) im not doubting you, im just curious.

have you checked the earth is it properly connected......also if you open up the purifier check all the connecters are they connected...and also check the earth wire completely even from inside.....there is also a type of regulator in the circuit try revolving that....

no i havnt done anything to it. but i did spray some axe body spray in my car on accident and it turned on and ran for about 30 minutes and was still running until i opened the door. the auto/hi/lo still doesnt work.

try opening it and cleaning it...dont worry it wont break...mostly points get moisture or rust or a loose connection.ull never know untill u open it...
