I made some changes!

Alright everyone, first let me give a huge Thank You to Ishaq for welcoming me as a co-admin! Together, we will make sure this community stays strong forever.

That said, I was excited to work my way around the site, changing things here and there. I was able to put my graphic design to use! It was the LEAST I could do to say "thank you" to Ishaq for entrusting me with my new responsibility! I've been super busy on this all day LOL.

OK, so the changes.

Well, first you'll probably notice cool new titles and colors around your username! I've created a few new "user titles" based on your number of posts. You'll also see the stars I created, based on your post count or forum standing. Different stars and colors for everything! It took a long time, but I think it finally looks good I welcome your ideas!

Also, I have combed over the entire forum layout and made small changes to everything. I have reordered, regrouped, renamed all of the forum sections. Sure, they are small changes, but I took what Ishaq started with and made it a bit more organized and uniform. My hope is that the new layout is more noob-friendly and straightforward. I have also added descriptions under each forum. Please, if I missed anything, let me know!

I've also changed the side bar slightly, again, to make it more presentable and have the best order of information.

All of the vendors (traders) finally have proper vendor accounts with moderator abilities in their specific "stores" or sections!

I've reduced the number of posts per page from 40 to 20 so that old images aren't reloaded so often (I know my computer is not the only one that crashes from loading too many images lol).

Oh, and look... I made a little icon for the webpage! You'll see it up top on the tab and on your bookmark. It says "AE101" in black, and the background is a yellow "7" for 7th gen. On a black background, the 7 stands out, and on a white background, the AE101 stands out. Pretty cool, eh?

I upped the rep you get in the DIY section, to encourage good replies And now, 100 points per friend!!

I've also made a ton of tweaks behind the scenes that only Ishaq can see, though things are bit more cleaned and organized, and ready to handle the growth we will have.

Ishaq and I are also trying to put together a good group of people to represent their localities; we've got some invitations still waiting to be accepted. Keep an eye out for that! I will be adding a good Local Chapter section to the forum, so that each Local Representative will have their own forum that they can moderate! It will be for organizing meets, posting local news/info, pics, etc.

There's probably a bit more stuff, but it's been a long day lol.

Oh, and finally, I've added a bunch of cool smileys hehe

I thought my build thread seemed slightly longer than it use to be; it went from being 17 pages to 30 something pages lol. I also noticed a change to the website tap Icon, a new message under the banner, the colourful names and the stars. Looks great and I still think this is the most user friendly forum I have ever used.

Yes, you were definitely in my mind for being a rep! You have posted so many pics and shared so much with me about Pakistan lifestyle, like I never even knew before. And you do great to spread AE101 love in Pakistan and on pakwheels. It was a no-brainer to have you as a rep!

I just moved the "Car of the Month" section out of the "Lounge" and straight onto the home page under "Member Rides". Hopefully more people see it and participate this way! (plus it's more "Member's Rides" than "Off Topic" anyway lol )

OK... so the latest change (with Ishaq's permission )... I turned off the "Related Topics" list at the bottom of each thread. Those topics were never related anyway! Just annoying IMO, and even inappropriate at times. I didn't want strangers, guests, new members, etc thinking that we supported those other links.

Just had another thought/suggestion. I was wondering (if we currently dont have one?) if we could make a section for hobbies so we can share some "non AE101 related" pics. I just today undug my dad (which is now mine because he doesnt want it) snowmobile and I wanted to share my model car pics.
