NO not worth it... if you're doing intake mods, either 1 make it yourself, 2 just use a K&N drop-in filter, or 3 get the $30 cheapo SRI on ebay.

Short ram intakes don't usually add power because they suck in all the hot air from the engine.
Like Chris said make your own with the pod down behind the bumper, or if you want to go go with short ram add add a scoop to your hood it will dump cold air straight on to it.
Check out the 1998 BZ-T in the wagon section, i did it on that works a treat Very Happy

Don't get the wrong idea, intake mods ARE worth it..... just not spending so much money on a SRI when the $30 one does exactly the same thing.

I disagree Chris i think you tend to get what you pay for when it comes to car parts. Which is why parts from K&N, TODA and TRD cost more, they put money into research so they work better than the cheaper knock off's.

That's just my option though

You have to make your own CAI, it's easy Smile

I do agree Magweal that you get what you pay for, though some places more than others. The intake is one place where it doesn't matter so much.

Welding for what? The intake? There is no welding needed on the intake.

Just make it yourself, like I did.

Just need two pieces of pipe, a cone filter, some clamps, a couple couplers and a screw driver haha.
