Sorry whats up I haven't been on here in awhile. Been trying to get the car ready for the big show this weekend.
To help you out a little bit. If you do a basic bolt on kit. Fuel injectors ,,fuel pump ,fuel pressure regulator. You can set the car at 5 pounds and get 150 horsepower. In about 165 foot pounds of torque. Change the transmission to manual. If you have an auto you will need a high stall torque converter. Get a piggyback unit. And you will be good to go.

awww thanx man so ill add 50 hp? or ill add 150 hp makin 250? well what u did wit that car is bad ass bro im sure u been told haha by any can anyone tell what the best connecting rods for a turbo application be? brian crower rods?

do u have any idea what transmission would be good? would the stock manuel tranny from another corolla be good?

You can put a lot of power through an engine without really having to upgrade the transmission. But if you are upping the power on a Corolla, it only makes sense that you upgrade to manual from autobox to get more out of what you are putting your money in to.

thanx so any manuel tranny can handle a turboed engine? cause i thought some were stronger than others thats why i was askin what tranny would be better then stock?

a manual will be able to handle power better, plus you drive it alot better..
shifting when you want to, not when the auto box makes you..

5 Speed box, C52, is stronger than 6 speed, C160. Best box, if you can find one, is E58 from a Levin supercharger as it has bigger drive shafts, same box internals as on supercharged MR2 but the gear linkage is different on MR2 due to the engine location.

low boost for stock internals would do, you just need a good tuner and good engine management system.

C50-C56 can any of them be installed? their all 5speed and toyota originated

Quick answer - No

They are all 5 speed boxes and some internals are interchangable but the important part is the bellhousing, as in which engine block it fits. To fit a 4A block you can use C52, C56, C160 See Wiki for more info.

ok and what i found on wiki it seems like the only 6 speed is the c160 right? so any sixspeed tranny from a levin has to be a c160 right cause most people dont post the tranny code! Sad

Yes, the only Levin 6 speed is the C160, some have LSD some don't as it was a factory option on BZG's but standard on BZR's, both using the 20v Blacktop engine.
