| 200?! But it was horrible... right?
Anyways guys, can anyone with an A/F ratio gauge tell me if this fluctuation is okay? It's been like this since day 1 but I wasn't completely sure if its normal or not.
@Magweal - does your A/F ratio kinda go up and down a little bit when you're idling?

| Wideband is an overkill for a factory engine. At least you got a wideband that actually reads correctly. On my MR2, the idle is on the lean side. At WOT, it gets rich. As long as your not on the lean side while driving, you're good. | |

| Does your kind of go up and down in increments as well? Kind of like how mine is going from 14.6 to 15.0 on idle? Or is it suppose to read one constant number?

No, it was actually good. IT didn't have a clear coat, but the surface was still perfectly glossy and it held up fine. But since I was getting my car painted once a year, why pay more? Sure, they didn't take anything off to paint, and didn't remove any old paint, but it worked. I did the prep work to save money.

| As far as I'm aware its meant to jump up and down a little at idle, even at idle the RPM won't hold a constant 1000rpm it will jump up and down as well, but not enough for the rpm gauge to show it. My A/F meter reads 0 at the mo, my O2 sensor is stuffed | |

| I definitely have missed this thread for a while. I like the wideband, and the new skirts look much better in my opinion. What happened to your hood..? but the car still looks great as ever. | |

My A/F meter reads 0 at the mo, my O2 sensor is stuffed Hm. That actually makes a lot of sense. Thanks for the clarification! Glad to know my wideband is normal. - MirrorEyes wrote:

Sup Aaron! The hood is just damaged from my first accident years ago. I think those are the markings of the tire tread or the plastic bumper of the Jeep that hit me. Horrible battle scars.

| Yes my wideband is never at a certain number. It's normal. If it moves from 13-15 then you have something wrong with the tune. You dont want to be running lean when you're cruising. | |

| I see I missed a few reactions! Anywho, I will be installed oil temp, water temp and oil pressure gauges. The wiring is done, just need to lay it in the enginebay and bring the ends inside. Then I need to attach the oil sandwich plate and refresh the oil. Still no looking forward to fitting the sandwich plate, have heard scary stories about leaking and stuff... Oh well, prolly will fit it next weekend tho Then I will need to cut out some holes for the meters themselves, this will take the longest since I don't want to ruin anything. When the meters are in the holder it a matter of minutes to get it all wired (thanks to all the nice soldering I already did) | |

Thanks Ishaq! It's good to hear from you again. Seems like ages bro!! I thought about the one color paint but I don't think I could. I think she would honestly look like any other BZ with one color. Gonna have to go with a complete two tone of the current colors if the price is right. Anyways, here's a little update. I didn't mind the damage since I wanted to paint the middle black. I'm currently waiting for the paint to dry. Will have it installed within two days. I bought it for $99 shipped. I hope that was a good deal. I really wish I could've kept the COROLLA logo though.

| I think I am finally done. I do need new tints. And then after that, I'll replace the damaged body panels I currently have and then off to the paint booth. After the paint I think I can finally call it quits on this project and not spend a dime on mods. ... until I get stung by the mod bug and end up doing a swap. I must resist! | |
