I'm Dark and I've popped over from the AE92 Owners Club. I've joined as my friend Sam (who isn't the most mechanically minded person out there when it comes to cars) has just bought an AE101 corolla 1.6 Si hatchback, after writing off his Clio (the less said about the Clio the better).

Anyhow the car was a cheap £500 ebay find (something that wasn't spares or repairs and had some decient amount of M.O.T), so as to be expected the car has a few little problems with it that need sorting, hence the joining here to get some more info.

So far we know it needs, a new headlight as one has a snapped bracket (looks like it's had a gentle bump on the front).
Repair or replace the rear spoiler as cracked from what looks like the car being revered into a lamppost at some point in it's life.
A new radiator (the fins are starting to go on this one) but it still works fine.
Several million scratches touched up, painted and machine polished out
Again same to do with a few little dents and dings
and finally a finally a good service.

hello and welcome to site, looks like a clean model.. the good thing about the si is that it came with the gxi / 20v interior, all electrics and the whiteface clocks with the volt meter build in..

came with a 4a-fe engine right...

Yeah she's got the 4A-FE in her, 102,500 miles and still running sweet as.

No other pics at the moment, managed to find that one still on google from the ebay ad. It looks cleaner in the pics than real life.

any major plans for her?

No major plans as of yet. Just a good clean up, maybe a few JDM touches.
