| Why you get primer on the tires !?! How long you think that will hold up before the rust reappears? It's awesome you are trying to rebuild that and not just giving up like I did LOL. | |

| got bad news, wiring melted in the interior dash loom , nearly caused a small fire, buy fortunatly something stopped, dont know what yet, but will have to pull the dash apart to see what has happened and why the car is not starting now... think a live has had a surge of power or something like that through it and its melted and fused with an earth, but will know more details when i rip everything apart | |

| That's always my fear with doing custom work, especially wiring/lighting, that something will go FATALLY wrong.
When the "fire" happened, did anything stop working or shut off?

| not really, just saw smoke coming out from drivers vent, and switched ingnition off straight away. let the car roll to the side of the road, and let it cool down abit..
tried to start it again and just would not start.. checked the wires and of them had melted all the way to the copper...

| Ouch! I have to replace mine too, not due to any melting, but because the new loom had some more wires and thus options in it | |
