I fitted some facelift tail lights today....again. I think this is the 3rd time I've fitted a set and then changed my mind a few days later and gone back to the pre-facelift orange/red set, but this time I think I'm going to stick with them. Not sure what's changed but I really like how the facelift set makes the car look a lot more modern, so they're likely here to stay Smile

YES!! Dreams DO come true! haha I always loved these more than your orange/red ones. Not to say the old set did not look good (they looked great!), these just look better in my opinion.

These look really great and clean but the other ones gives just a bit more contrast with the bodycolor.
Dont bother the feeling you cant make choice...just swap again when any doubt come up. Wink

Yep, I'm with Kenny on this one! These tail lights have always looked the most modern and clean to me.

Hello Scott,

I've been following the progress of your car and it's always impressive.
Regarding the tail lights I think the other ones is better, the red/orange gives contrast to the body color.

However, this car is very nice! Maybe the best AE101 I've ever seen.

IMO, contrast isn't always a good thing.... you want everything to work together nicely, not clash Smile

Yea, I agree.

White is neutral color as black and range of greys.. so it won't clash with any colors. IMO, contrasting white with orange/red tail lamps gives a fresh impression on the car, while the current lights (white/shades of reds) looks less fresh and monotonous. Smile

I decided to splash out and buy this genuine TRD oil cap today. It was something I had been wanting for a while but couldn't justify spending the money on since all it really does compared to the stock one is sit there looking pretty, but now that I finally have the engine bay looking the way I wanted I figured that the cap would be a nice finishing touch Smile
