calibrating speedo ae 101

lads,is there a method of calibrating the speedo on a 93 corolla?
My speedo was always reading about 15-20 kmh slower than what i am actually doing.
Oringial wheels fitted,i swapped a 6 speed c160 box into the car and its still the same.

I had an issue like that once, I took off the needle and put it back on at the correct spot. If you remove the cluster and pop the plastic off, you can then carefully bend the needle so that it goes beyond the stop. Then, it will naturally come to it's own stop. keep in mind exactly where it stops, and then use a couple of flat blades to slowly wiggle the center of the needle up off the pin. Then simply rotate it 15-20 kmh and push it back on, and then lift it back over the stop.
