Hi all. My name is Steve, from Knoxville, TN. I'm a full time automotive tech and reservist in the US Army.
I've been ghosting this site or quite a while and decided to finally join. I am the proud owner of my second AE101. The first one, 1997 base model sedan, I had in high school was sadly destroyed by family during my extended absence from the states. And the second one, 1996 DX sedan, I picked up for a smooth $300 USD...it had a blown motor and front end damage but was salvageable in my eyes.
After 2 nights in the garage, 3 trips to the machine shop, 4 different junk yards, and a few pizzas I had Thelma, my Corolla, back on the road. She is far from perfect but slowly coming together.
I decided I wanted to be different from most of the Hondas in my area and modify the Corolla...my wife calls it a granny car
....and I've barely scratched the surface of things on my list.
Now a little bit about the car...
